Boonieville

I can't believe I'm actually excited about going to a small city that I know for a fact has nothing to do there for entertainment. Hahah. But the good thing is I'm glad Ivy will be there with me so it won't be as boring there, and I'll most likely have a car so I won't need to rely on public transit to get around.

It'll be a nice change of pace for once and I'll finally get the hospital experience I wanted before I finish school. Too bad it's so far away from home. Oh well, you can't always get everything you want, right? And to think, I was planning on spending my last summer ever just lounging around and working part time at Shoppers again, taking it easy. Oh well, guess that's not going to happen. So I better make the most of what little summer I have free! (Once I finish exams of course) =P

Valentine's Day Plans

Well, seeing as that we have our Phm328 midterm on Valentine's (nice V-day present eh?) there's not really much time to do anything else that day. Especially being extremely sleep deprived since our therapeutics midterm is on the Monday just before.

Anyhow, I figure I'll go home on Wednesday and surprise my mom with a bunch of flowers. She hasn't gotten flowers in a while because it was usually my dad who got them for her, so I figure it'll be nice to give her some flowers and a great big hug.

On a side note... I can also finally get some Wii time! Heheh.

Marketing Ploy

Obviously during winter you're almost expected to come down with a cold sooner or later. I just happen to get one on the one day I had to go into work. So I was sneezing like crazy during class and at work. Needless to say my nose was taking a beating from all of the kleenex.

When I finally came home from work I remembered I bought a box of that "New Anti-viral Kleenex". Mind you, I only bought it just to see what the heck was so "anti-viral" about it. Needless to say the only thing on the "ingredients" was citric acid and sodium lauryl sulfate (surfactant). What the heck do you need a surfactant in a kleenex for? Are you sticking the kleenex up your nose or something? As for the citric acid... is that to make the kleenex smell better? (But it really doesn't smell citrusy anyhow)

npKLEENEXAntiViral

All-in-all, this Anti-viral kleenex is a SCAM! Good marketing ploy for those who know nothing about science and how you can't really treat colds due to viruses (you just gotta bear with it and let it run its course).

But, I must say, the kleenex does look really cute with the blue dots on it. And it's uber soft too. I soooo needed this on Tuesday when I used about a gazillion kleenexs that day.

Conclusion - If you need a super soft kleenex, the anti-viral ones are good (but super expensive)... or just go for some other super soft kleenex that's probably half the price as this one!

Wow, I haven't posted on here in ages.

Anyhow, school is just killing me! Constantly exhausted and trying to catch up (with no success obviously). And PPL labs are brutal.... just waiting to get my pink slip tomorrow.

Aside from school, my bro was supposed to get me a wii for christmas, but due to the short supply and high demand he obviously didn't get one. And there's no way I would line up the night before just to get one either (definitely not that desperate to get one... lol). So anyhow, I called my bro tonight and found out he already bought the wii last week but didn't even bother telling me. AND him and my sis already started playing with it.... WITHOUT ME!!!!

So now I have to wait to play with my xmas present, but school keeps getting in the way! Argh!

Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait until I go home again to play with it.... school's so depressing this term!

BLAH!
